At 4:00 the temperature in Tulsa was 73 degrees…an hour and half later it was 27. Quite a drop as the cold front moved into the area. It’s been sleeting for the past hour with some accumulation on the streets. Bridges and overpasses are frozen and the street crews have been slow to respond. There continues to be a 50% chance of winter precip through the night and drving conditions are expected to worsen through the overnight hours. If you must travel, use extreme caution.
The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, effective until 6:00 a.m. Monday.
