July 8, 2016, 7:00 am update from Dallas PD
12 police officers and 2 civilians are shot, 5 are killed. One of the shooters is dead and 3 have been arrested.
The man identified as a “person of interest” early in the investigation turned himself in and has been cleared. Because of that, I’ve removed the tweet with his photograph.

11:14 pm update: a 4th officer has died.

11 police officers were shot tonight in Dallas, Texas. 3 of those officers were killed. As well, one civilian was wounded. At least two shooters were responsible.
The police are searching for this guy, one of the suspected shooters. If you know him or see him, contact the Dallas Police Department.
