Zulu Time Conversion

Have you ever wondered what it meant when someone said, “1200 Zulu”?  Most forecasts and reports that come out of the National Weather Service and ham radio operators use what is known as Zulu time.  Zulu time is also referred to as GMT and UTC.  The chart below converts the 24 hours Zulu time to the central time zone.  Central Daylight Time (CDT) is Z-5 hours.  Central Standard Time (CST) is Z-6 hours.
