About

Welcome to the web site. I’m happy to have you here and I hope you’ll visit again in the near future.

A little about me

Now that I’m stepping into my sixth decade of summers, I guess you could say I’m pre-retirement. At least I’m thinking about it with more focus these days. I’m a proud Daddy and a Grandpa – the loves of my life.

I live in Oklahoma and even with the occasional disappointments that accompanies that, I love my state. I love the seasons and the weather extremes Oklahoma is known for.

This is my best description of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is where dinner is supper, lunch is dinner, and breakfast is served with a prayer.  It’s where you still hear ‘Ma’am’ and ‘Sir’.  It’s where the flag of our nation is respected, and an apology is never offered for that.

Tim

You may find me at a concert or on the back roads of Oklahoma or with a camera in my hands freezing a moment in time. However, you find me, it’ll be with awe in my eyes and compassion in my heart for the nature around me and for those I meet along the way.

About this site

This web site was started a while back when I chased storms almost full-time. Unfortunately, the chasing has been tapering off recently. Mostly due to lack of good storms over the past few years and my job schedule. It’s just difficult to get out when Mother Nature finally decides to produce something worth chasing. So, as expected, storm chasing has taken a backseat to just day-to-day life.

So, you’ll find a mix of writings and information here. Yes, the weather and photography are still my main focus, but you’ll also find a few posts about what I’m up to and, sometimes, my feelings about some random current event.

Be a part of my online family

If you want to keep up with the posts, there’s a place near the bottom of the main page (on the right side) to sign up for notifications. I don’t flood you with posts, but when I do write something or post some new pictures, you’ll get an email notification.

Also, if I post something and you want to comment about the post, feel free to do that. I love having conversations with my visitors and it doesn’t happen often enough. All I ask is don’t spam me and keep it civil. Think of us as friends having a great conversation. At the end of the day I still want our friendship to be intact – even when we disagree.

Be safe and take care of each other.

Tim
