Well, it was an exciting couple of hours.  We moved from storm cell to storm cell and didn’t stop for more than a minute or two until we had dinner in Cushing.  So, I didn’t have time to post anything.

We missed the tornado that went through Edmond by an hour or so.  I just couldn’t drive fast enough to get us into position.   The most we encountered along the way was heavy rain and some pea sized hail.

This was a pretty unusual event for February.  Maybe it’s a sign that the season will be an active one.

Some severe t-storm warnings and a couple flood warnings are still in effect, so don’t let your guard down just yet.  It could rumble through the night.

I don’t usually get storm reports until well after the storms have passed, so I’ll review the storm reports tomorrow.  But our prayers are with those in Edmond and Lone Grove.  Preliminary reports are now coming in indicating damaging tornadoes in those areas.

Stay safe.

Tim
