Can't seem to escape winter — wait, maybe we can.

It really is spring, although you might not have noticed it today.  Much cooler than it was last week and it’s expected to get even colder.  After a high of only 48 degrees today, tonight’s low temp will be in the mid to low 30’s with gusty winds.  But that cold air will intensify tomorrow, bringing us a hard freeze warning and temperatures in the 20’s.  Wind chills will probably be around 11 degrees and tender vegetation will have a hard time making it through the night without precautions being taken.

Over the next few days it’ll be windy and the winds will probably raise the risk of wildfires.  So, be careful.

A little more seasonably, things will begin to warm up on Tuesday and by Wednesday we’ll begin looking for rounds of severe thunderstroms.  The most likely days will be Thursday and then again on Saturday.  Although it’s too early to forecast exactly what’s going to happen since we’re waiting on a system to get here from California.

Don’t worry, spring will arrive.  Eventually.
