The Storm Prediction Center in Norman is forecasting a slight risk of severe weather for Friday and Saturday this week. This risk includes the possibility of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.
We’ll have to look at the models in more depth tomorrow to figure out what this really going to do. We know the low pressure is going to move our way, but the placement of the dryline and development of shear are still in question.
I’ll be in Wichita Friday night, but may be out and about Friday afternoon and then chase back to Tulsa Saturday. So, stay tuned and keep your eye on the sky.
