A winter storm is likely to develop on Sunday in our area. For Tulsa, it appears snow will be the major threat. We could see a couple inches of snow before it tapers off on Monday. We could begin with a wintry mix, but significant ice accumulation for our area isn’t forecast at this time. Travel could be impacted so check road conditions before heading out.
There’s a chance that the snow could continue into Wednesday, but an accurate forecast won’t be possible until we get closer to the event.
At any rate, you should probably prepare for a 3 day winter storm and pay close attention to local forecasts for possible watches and/or warnings. You know what to do.
