A polar cold front will be moving into Oklahoma on Wednesday. With that, a chance of severe weather is in the forecast.
There’s a chance we’ll see severe thunderstorms anytime after noon on Wednesday, but the risk goes up as we move into the early evening hours. A cold front, temps in the mid to upper 70s, dew points near 60°, and moderate instability, will set the stage for storm development. The greatest risks will be hail and damaging winds.
We’ll have to wait and see if this scenario holds true.
