Sunday evening will be a great night to take the family into the back yard and look up to the stars.
Just past 7:00 p.m. CT, the show will begin. Not only will this year’s Harvest Moon appear as a Super Moon, but an eclipse of the moon will unfold through the evening, turning it a golden-reddish color. A total eclipse of the Super Harvest Moon.
Think you’ll pass and wait for the next one? That might not be a good idea. The next eclipse of the Harvest Moon won’t happen again until the year 2033.
Thanks to NASA, here’s a glimpse of what we can expect tomorrow night.
