This is an easy, healthy and tasty meal. Takes about 20 minutes to prep and cook. I served mine with brown rice and a plate salad.
Ingredients
- 2 (4 to 6 ounce) Tilapia fish fillets (get them from the meat counter, not frozen)
- Salt
- Pepper
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Directions
- Rinse the fillets in cold water and pat dry
- Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper.
- Place flour in a shallow dish and press each fillet into the flour on both sides to lightly coat, shake off any excess flour.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
- Cook fillets in the oil until the fish begins to flake (about 4-5 minutes on each side)
- Brush each fillet with the melted butter and continue cooking for a minute or two.
Serve HOT and enjoy!
