There’s no mention of winter precipitation for the next few days, although a slight risk of rain is on tap for Monday. In fact, after an overnight low below freezing, tomorrow’s temps could rise into the low 50s! That’s a good thing.
For today, clouds will make things dreary outdoors and with temperatures in the low 40s, it will not be pleasant. Big coat is suggested. I, for one, plan to stay indoors and get some stuff done.
Later in the week, some sunshine should return and daytime highs will stay in the mid to upper 40s.
Not bad for winter in Oklahoma. We’re doing a lot better than the folks on the right-coast being hit with the blizzard. But, I’m thinking this calm may give us a false sense of security. Remember, our pattern for the past few months has been pushing weather out of sync by about a month. Winter could run the same pattern.
