The heat returns for a few days with temps near the century mark and higher heat index values. But, a little relief will be here for the weekend.
There’s a slight chance of rain today, but I doubt we’ll see much. Heat advisories have been issued for today and already for tomorrow. We’ll be in the upper 90s this week until a front moves through the area this weekend, bringing with it a little rain and cooler temps.
Cooler temps, like anything in life, is a relative thing, so you won’t need a jacket. But 90 degrees sounds a whole lot better than 100 and the temp forecast for Sunday is 87°. Sweet.
Rain is also in the forecast for Friday and Saturday.
We actually have something to look forward to.
