Two thousand are sick and fifty-six are dead in China and the coronavirus is spreading. Three people are confirmed to be infected in the United States. One in the state of Washington, one in Chicago and one in Southern California. High-risk U.S. citizens in Wuhan, China, are being evacuated on January 28th.

The scary thing is you don’t have to be sick or showing symptoms to spread the virus. There’s the potential of a pandemic if it’s not contained very soon. The World Health Organization and Centers for Disease control are closely monitoring the situation.

China is building a 1,000-bed emergency hospital in Wuhan to treat patients and they’ve shut down mass-transit. That may not be enough as the numbers are quickly rising.

Common sense steps you can take, like any other virus, is washing your hands often and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
