Tropical Storm Beta expected to make landfall Tuesday

I’ve been watching Tropical Storm Beta as it moves towards the coast of Texas for a few days now. It isn’t expected to become a hurricane, of course that could change tomorrow.

Right now it looks like landfall will be southwest of Houston. Storm surge, heavy rains and flooding will be the major risks. Although wind damage and tornadoes can never be ruled out.

If you’re on the coast, you may want to prepare today.

This is the satellite the morning’s satellite image.
