If you thought we had enough winter this week with the ice, just wait. A major winter storm is developing for Sunday and Monday. I’m expecting watches and warnings will be issued Saturday or Sunday morning.
8-10 inches of snow and dangerous wind chills that could drop to -10 to -20 are being forecast. Then, as if that’s not enough, we could see another 5 inches of snow Tuesday night and Wednesday.
This isn’t going to be fun.
You need to be getting ready for it. If you need groceries and gas in the car, you have tomorrow and Saturday to get it together. You may want to plan on being homebound for a week or so. It’ll take some time to dig out.
I’m hoping the forecast will improve. But, it’s not looking good. I’ll post again when we get closer and things firm up a bit.
