I’m beginning to think that we’ll not have a severe storm season this year. It’s already the middle of May and Oklahoma tornadoes have been scarce this year. That’s not a bad thing. But, it sure does make the weather a little boring.
This week, rain is forecast. We could see a few severe storms on Monday and Tuesday with some instability, but the greatest threat from those storms will be hail and heavy rain. I mean, this is Oklahoma and the weather forecast can change if someone sneezes. We could find something to photograph, but I’m not holding my breath.
Is the season going to be late this year? It’s anybody’s guess. I guess the rain and mild temperatures are better than a drought.
