Lacking Federal support, the Texas Governor is tired of the border crisis and he’s taking action. He’s approved $1B to go to security of the southern Texas border. States surrounding Texas will also benefit by his actions, including Oklahoma. I applaud Gov. Abbott for the actions he is taking.
You might think this is a radical move, but he’s doing what he needs to do, as Governor, to protect his state and stop the increase in illegal entry into his state and this country. He’s not waiting on VP Harris to show up. He’s not waiting on President Biden to grow a pair. His actions are in effect NOW.
Bottom line, if you illegally enter Texas, you’ll end up in a Texas prison. Period. He doesn’t pull punches and he calls it like it is.
