Hurricane Larry is a Cat3 hurricane currently in the Atlantic, east of the Dominican Republic. U.S. mainland landfall is unlikely, but storm surge and deteriorating surf conditions are expected later this week. Of course, there’s always the chance Larry will spawn severe weather for the eastern states – if he gets close enough.

Bermuda could get the outer bands of this storm, but for now it doesn’t look like there will be a direct hit.

If you reside along the eastern United States, monitor forecasts for changing conditions.
