I admit it. I did turn the furnace on last night. It was in the low 40s when I work up, so I’m glad I did. It’s going to get colder this week.
A freeze warning has been issued for tonight. Temps are expected to fall into the upper 20s. There are also areas with a freeze watch in effect.
Another freeze watch for tomorrow night has also been issued with expected lows around 27. I’m expecting that to turn into a Freeze Warning sometime tomorrow.
The high today is only going to reach 61F here in Tulsa and the high tomorrow is only expected to reach into the 50s. Fall is really here.
Time to get the sweatshirts and light jackets out, at least for a couple of days.
Don’t despair, temps will get back to near normal on Thursday.
