2/1/2023 Update: There’s a slight chance of freezing rain tonight. With that in mind, the NWS has extended the Winter Weather Advisory until noon on Thursday.
This was my drive into the office this morning. That’s not snow. It’s ice.
Unlike our last winter weather event, it looks like I’ll be seeing some winter weather this week. Unfortunately, it’ll start with some sleet.
My area is under a Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow from 6am until 6am on Wednesday. The main threat will be sleet. Hopefully freezing rain won’t develop. I can handle sleet or snow, but freezing rain is a different animal.
Make sure you check the road conditions if you travel out of the area tomorrow.
More winter weather is expected every day for the rest of the week. I guess that’ll give me something to look forward to.
