You would have thought Sunday was shaping up to be the day. The SPC elevated the risk for severe storms and began issuing watches and warnings very early in the day. We were hopeful that day #2 would produce the stuff we’re out there for. I guess in many respects it was a productive day. But,

It was a long day. We left Tulsa at noon and didn’t check into the hotel until 11. Another day of severe weather is expected to fire up today. Nothing in our area touched down, but we did experience some hail, very strong winds and funnel clouds. Here’s a couple
Looking at the models and various forecasts, it looks like we could be in for a bumpy weekend. There’s a chance of severe weather starting Saturday night and continuing through Monday. Sunday and Monday are shaping up to be the big days. Justin and I are planning to take advantage
