Hurricane Bill is a huge storm

Although forecasters are not expecting Hurricane Bill to hit the United States, it is a very large and powerful hurricane; and it is heading towards the east coast.  At a minimum, it will cause eastern waters to surge.  The hurricane is currently about 550 miles S of Bermuda.

Now a category 3 storm, Bill is packing winds of 125 MPH.  Tropical force winds can be felt 250 miles from the center – a huge storm.

The National Hurricane Center is predicting this path for Bill.

 The storm is being closely monitored.
