The Mother Road Ride to support the efforts of the MS Society in their battle against multiple sclerosis is this weekend! It looks like the weather is going to cooperate, so get out there and support this worthwhile event.
It all begins on Saturday, September 26th, when bicyclists take to old Route 66 for a 2 day ride from Tulsa to Oklahoma City – raising money and awareness for the MS Society.
Personally I have a reason to support the ride. My cousin is in a nursing home because of MS. My aunt suffers from MS.
So, if you’re riding this weekend, thank you. If you’re not riding this weekend, then support those who are! I work with a man who is taking the 150 mile journey, Steve Rubino. You can support Steve’s efforts from his participant page.
