Thank Mom Nature for the weather this week

Mother Nature threw the switch on Tuesday, dramatically moving us from summer to fall, and she did it on schedule.  Tuesday was the first day of fall and a cold front moved down to Oklahoma bringing us a deluge of rain that caused minor flooding in the Tulsa area.  It also brought cooler temperatures.  Yesterday morning it was 51 degrees when I left for the office.  Nice!

Rain is out of the forecast for the next few days and cooler and more seasonable weather will be seen.  Lows in the 50’s and 60’s and highs in the 70’s and 80’s.  Unless something changes, our weather should be downright pleasant.

  • Today: Increasing clouds, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph.
  • Tonight: Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 52. South wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming south between 6 and 9 mph.
  • Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind between 5 and 8 mph.
  • MS Ride Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Southwest wind between 5 and 7 mph.
  • Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
  • Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 86.
  • Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Thanks Mom!
