If the models are right and the forecasts hold, there’s a good chance of severe weather on Monday. Right now the SPC is anticipating at least a slight risk for severe t storms with large hail and tornadoes.
I don’t want to put too much into a forecast this many days in advance, but the set up expected late Sunday night into Monday can’t be ignored.
It’s early and obviously the forecasts will be refined over the weekend, so we probably won’t make a go-no go decision until Sunday evening or Monday morning.
