Not a real exciting week ahead, but we should have some nice weather. Nice!

I’ve looked at all of the severe weather possibilities for next week and I don’t see anything that indicates notable convection.  At least not at this point.  Once we get past noon today, our chances for any type of precipitation is reduced to “slight”.  Part of me is happy for that, and part of me is disappointed.  This chase season has started slowly.  But, if you’re into the sunny stuff, you won’t be disappointed.

We have a slight chance for showers today, but that should end by around lunchtime.  The high daytime temperature will probably land around 70°.

The rest of the week isn’t too bad.  We should see sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s and overnight lows in the 50s.  Towards the end of next week, things will begin to heat up some, which is a good sign, although it’s too early to forecast any severe stuff.

I’m still hopeful that we’re just getting a late start this year and not a non-existent spring chase season in Oklahoma.

Stay in touch.
