I don’t know about you, but I’m so over the need for rain. I’m not ready for the summer heat but, damn, enough already.
Well, we can probably stow the life jacket – for now. It looks like we’ll get a break from the monsoon season in Oklahoma for a few days.
The downside to the change in weather is that the temps will be heating up. After a “cool” 90 degrees for tomorrow’s high, the thermometer will be registering mid to upper 90s for the next week. Oh, and heat index values in the triple digits.
Shit.
The upside? Sunshine. We can all use a bit of that.
I don’t want to hear anyone bitch about not getting rain…at least for a week or two. Enjoy nature’s vitamin D, but try not to melt like the wicked witch from The Wizard of Oz. It’s going to be toasty.
