I won’t lie. It’s going to be a scorcher today. Highs will flirt with a triple digit and the humidity will make it feel like it’s 107°. Air conditioning will undoubtedly be our friend.
We are under an Heat Advisory until 7pm this evening. I’m expecting this advisory to be extended or a new advisory issued for tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s forecast is a repeat of today. But, that will change tomorrow night when a “cooler” front moves in. Temps will drop a little and rain chances will increase. The highs for Tuesday and Wednesday should be in the low 90s with chances of rain both days.
It’ll be short-lived though. The oven will heat back up on Thursday and temps will continue to rise through next weekend with another round of near 100° days.
The keys for these hot days are: if you MUST participate in outdoor activities, make sure you take plenty of breaks from the heat and hydrate. And NEVER, EVER leave children or pets unattended in a parked vehicle.
