Kiss the cooler weather goodbye! Hello hell.

It sure was nice this morning, wasn’t it?  But, if you thought the cooler weather was going to hang with us a bit longer you’re sure to be disappointed.  The heat-up is on.

Daytime temps for the next week will hug the 100° mark (actual temperature) and heat index values could reach 110°.

Welcome to Oklahoma.

With the extreme heat and the number of days we’ll experience it, I think we can consider this a critical weather event.

A heat advisory has been issued for the Tulsa area beginning at noon tomorrow and ending at 8pm tomorrow night.  I’m sure this isn’t the only one that’ll be issued for the next 7 days.

HEAT INDICES BETWEEN 105 AND 110 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED AGAIN ON
FRIDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS ALL OF NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL
  OKLAHOMA.
