Yes, I did chase. I’ll post the field log tomorrow night with a couple photographs.
G’night.
5:49 pm
The tornado watch area has once again been expanded and now includes Tulsa and surrounding counties.
5:28 pm
The tornado watch area has been expanded. It doesn’t include Tulsa, but it’s really close.

I kind of knew this was coming. A tornado watch, #155, has been issued for southeast Oklahoma. In effect until 9 pm.
2:15
A severe thunderstorm watch, #154, has been issued for eastern Kansas and a large portion of Oklahoma. It’s in effect until 9:00 pm.
The risks are hail, damaging winds and tornadoes.
11:57 am
The area of concern has increased since this morning even though the skies are turning blue here in Tulsa. I guess the 3 pm run will tell the tale.
The air is ripe if we get some heating this afternoon. Storms should fire up ahead of the dry line, which is still in western Oklahoma. But that is expected to change through the day, moving into eastern Oklahoma.
7:52 am
I’d hoped this would be better for today, but it’s not. Not yet anyway. The enhanced area that included Tulsa yesterday is now located in southeast Oklahoma. I’ll check through the day, but we may have a rain event for today and that’s all.
