It’s been an active few days and tonight is going to be the coldest. Here in Tulsa, after getting 5″ of snow on the ground, we’re expecting the temps to drop tonight to around -10° with wind chill values of -17°. It’s been cold and power companies have started rolling blackouts to conserve power usage. I’ve not had one here yet, but the threat is.

Not enough? Another storm system is heading this way tomorrow night and Wednesday. The forecast is calling for another 4-6″ of snowfall. On the bright side it will be warmer.

We are under a new Winter Storm Warning, in effect from 12:00 pm on Tuesday until 6 am on Thursday. Most of the state is under the latest warning.

The current Wind Chill Warning is still in effect until tomorrow at 9 am.

Fortunately, I was able to stay home today. I’m going to try and get into the office tomorrow. I’m better at driving in snow than on the ice.

Stay warm, stay safe and take care of each other.
