Rain is likely ahead of a cold front moving this way. I think it’ll begin around 5:00 this evening. The high for today will be in the 60s. Then our world is going to change.
The high for tomorrow is expected to be 52F (at 1:00 a.m. while we rock in the new year) and then the temperature will be dropping throughout the day. We’ll be in the teens by evening and the cold rain I’m expecting could change to snow tomorrow evening. As of now we’ll probably only see a trace of the white stuff here in Tulsa, but the wind chills for Saturday and Sunday could be the story when temps fall to below zero. Burr.
Yes. Winter is returning – at least for a couple of days. We’ll be back into the 40s and 50s on Monday.
If you are planning to travel this weekend, check forecasts and road conditions before you head out. Some areas to the north are forecasting ice.
