Hurricane Fiona in PR.
11:35am update: Fiona has been upgraded to a Cat 1 hurricane. The entire island without power.
The NOAA storm planes have been monitoring the conditions around Puerto Rico this morning as Tropical Storm Fiona heads towards the island. Expected to become a hurricane later today, Fiona is packing a powerful punch. Hurricane warnings have been issued for Puerto Rico.
This storm is not expected to reach the U.S. mainland.
