11:04pm update: The first two rounds of storms have moved through. I lost internet connection for a few minutes, but it came back on. Thankfully. The second round is moving to the east now, but it looks like another round is coming behind it.
7:15pm update: We’re under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning as strong storms move towards Rose Rock.
4:06pm update: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for much of Oklahoma, effective until 11:00 pm tonight.
We did have a couple days with rain, and that was very welcomed here. It’s been so dry. No, it’s not over yet.
On this first day of fall, I’m looking at the potential for severe weather tonight. I’m in the enhanced area. I’ll be watching this throughout the day to see if anything gets better – or worse. Damaging winds, hail and the potential for tornadoes are all possible.
