I’ve looked at the models this morning, and it looks like the storms will probably fire early evening into the overnight hours. It’s all dependent on how fast that cold front moves through. There’s a slight chance of hail and the conditions could be right for a tornado or two.
This is the tornado outlook for today. It’s a low risk.
I’m probably not going to chase today. It’s not a great enough risk to warrant driving for several hours. I’ll be watching this development from home. If something changes through the day, and it’s early enough, I could re-evaluate that decision.
