It’s been a cool day today and that trend will continue through Christmas. When I got out of bed, it was 22F. Cold. It was a tad rough climbing out from under the quilt. I did, but it wasn’t done without much grumbling.

Glancing at the forecast, I see there’s a chance we’ll get some snow next Wednesday and Thursday. It probably won’t be a major storm, maybe a half inch of accumulation, but it’ll definitely be reminder that winter is here. But, before then, we could see a wintry mix tonight. That’s right, sleet and snow are in the forecast. I doubt we’ll see any accumulation from it, but it’s a preview of what we can expect later in the week.

For this morning, anyway, I think some warm biscuits with my coffee is necessary.

It has been a trying week here at Rose Rock. I’ve been battling the flu and bronchitis. This isn’t something I’d recommend. I missed getting my flu shot when the clinic came to my office, and I didn’t get it re-scheduled. I’ve paid the price. The nurse at my doctor’s office asked me, “you think you’ll get the flu shot next year?” Yes! This isn’t something I should be messing with. This strain of flu is putting people at risk in the hospital. Fortunately, it hasn’t come to that. This time.

I saw this morning that Tulsa is now in the medium risk category for covid transmission. Time to start wearing a mask when out in public. One more thing to worry about.

I know one thing; this disease is far from being eradicated. we will have to live with it forever. Thanks to China and whoever else was involved in creating it.

Rita Coolidge at The Church Studio

A couple weeks ago I did get the opportunity to attend an event featuring Rita Coolidge. You may remember her from her career and marriage to Krist Kristopherson. I really enjoyed listening to Rita talk about her career, which began with Tulsa’s own Leon Russell.

I had a great time and received an autographed copy of her Book, “Delta Lady“. I really love the Legend Series events The Church Studio presents.

I’ve also been reading the release notes of “The Twitter Files” for a few days now and I’m not a happy camper. The DNC, FBI and DHS have been colluding with Twitter to silence conservative voices, violating first amendment rights. Our government is in need of major changes. The corruption runs deep. If this was happening at Twitter, you can bet your ass they’re also infiltrating the other social media platforms. I’d heard that leftists will stop at nothing to advance their socialist agenda and remain in power. I’m hoping people wake the fuck up. Our future is at risk. I also hope that once Republicans take over The House, investigations will begin.

Of course, leftists are melting down as Elon Musk continues to clean up the mess at Twitter. The latest, today, Elon said he’d ban accounts who are specifically set up to drive traffic to another platform. No free advertising. I’m sure Elon would be happy to sell you an advertisement if you want to buy one.

The outrage by leftists is because they aren’t wanting to have rules for themselves. They got used to having everything stacked on their side. Rules were only meant for moderates and conservatives. Thank goodness this ideology is changing.

The inflation rate for November was released this week. It’s dropped a little more, now at 7.1%. The stock market dived on the news. Gas is a little cheaper, but everything else is still going up. Some economists are still talking about a recession in 2023. The unbridled spending the Democrats have done haven’t helped the situation, yet they’re patting themselves on the back, “See what we’ve accomplished?” They are idiots.

Okay, that’s all I have for today.

Until next time.
